ABOUT THE ARTIST
Georgie’s love for the natural healing arts went to another level when the mystical and sacred came together in these beautiful silk art forms. Having previously studied color therapy, she experiences the colors as very healing and angelic with multiple uses for healing and for fashion.
THE PROCESS
Georgie begins the process with white silk from China and dye from France to create brilliant colors and designs. First the silk is designed which can take from 2 to 10 hours, then dried for 2 hours and steamed for 4 hours permanently setting the dye. Resulting in hand washable and dry cleanable treasured durable wearables.
